5 Years standstill

I can't manage to sleep; it's 03:00 a.m and I'm doing a long day in the hospital starting @08:30 a.m.

5 Years ago, I walked terrified in its streets, trying to survive it was such a dusty day, still captured by those images.
Time run fast, I'm far away now so far.
Yet, I just miss you my dear
What a terror you're living
When will I see you again?
It was 16 years ago when I spent my spring holiday there, just one year after you were completely destroyed in 1991, but you were so beautiful, a lot of progression was achieved, I wonder why no progression was achieved in the last 5 years, even the "Green Zone" has been unsafe!

Hang in there, my friend! We all are going through exactly the same thing. Our country is destroyed and it seems it's going to be a long time until it is fixed. For us, nothing is going to be the same. Those in our generation spent many years struggling, and the last war just broke our backbone. Let's hope that for the next generation things will be different. God! What a mess.

I loved this song, btw. It reminds me with my college days. Ah! Old days.

Please take care of yourself.
